Miami residents know there is always a new place to eat out, with exciting grand openings happening all the time. Whether you are looking for a romantic winery, a new place to grab drinks, or a causal eatery, you will love this list of new restaurants to try in Miami.
A Love Story Winery and Bistro
Opened in August 2022, A Love Story Winery & Bistro is an elegant wine bar serving a delicious food menu, extensive wine list, and a variety of handcrafted cocktails. The spacious venue includes several distinct areas, including a dining room, wine tasting rooms, gardens, and al fresco dining space.
The food menu is curated by chef Victor Millán, with a fusion of Latin American flavors and American favorites. Stop by any time for a wine tasting, dinner, or to pick up a special bottle to bring home.
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila
This Miami favorite is opening it's fifth location, this time in Coconut Grove! Bodega Taqueria y Tequila offers its guests three ways to enjoy their amazing, flavorful food: The Shack, The Lounge, and The Mezcaleria.
The Shack is a casual setting with amazing tacos, margaritas, and more. You will find specials like Margarita Monday and Taco Tuesday, in a vibrant and fun atmosphere.
The Lounge has a cool speakeasy vibe, "hidden" behind an unexpected door and featuring the same great menu plus live entertainment and a totally different aesthetic.
In The Mezcaleria, you will find a more elegant setting, with the same impressive food and drinks in a more sophisticated atmosphere. Live music from local bands and solo artists keep the mood romantic.
Whatever vibe you are looking for, you will find it at Bodega Taqueria y Tequila. It's no surprise they are opening their fifth location!
Freddy's Speakeasy
Located in the InterContinental Miami, known for it's innovative culinary concepts like Toro Toro, Freddy's Speakeasy is an exclusive venue open by reservation only.
With a distinctly prohibition-era aesthetic, Freddy's will offer cocktails crafted with herbs, house-made bitters, and freshly pressed juices. After you make a reservation, you will receive instructions for how to access the hidden venue, adding to the prohibition experience. Freddy's Speakeasy only hosts 12 guests at a time, so make sure to plan ahead to enjoy the experience.
Kuba on the Bay
In an ideal Biscayne Boulevard location, Kuba on the Bay will quickly become a local favorite. The ambience is an experience in itself, with a massive waterfront patio, views of the Bay, a bar inside a vintage Pontiac, lots of neon signage, and works by local Cuban artists all throughout.
Their menu is diverse and flavorful, with more choices than you can possibly enjoy in just one visit. Try their take on ceviche, anything else from their delicious raw bar, swordfish carpaccio, or guava pollo barbecue. You simply can't go wrong. Don't forget to try one of their signature, handcrafted cocktails like the "Dirty Mojito" which combines classic mojito ingredients with dark rum, or the "La Piña Loca" which is a homemade piña colada blend mixed with coconut rum.
